Beck Corridor Updates

This page lists updates since the publication of the pack in Spring 2008. These may include route changes (eg. installation of a drop kerb), highlight errors on the original published cards or provide additional information of interest.

Updates to Walk Card 1

Under 'Joining the Beck Corridor Trail at Walk 1' and the instructions relating to 'From Beckenham Junction Station', one of the sentences should read 'From the main exit of the station take the footway to the left which almost immediately joins the junction between Southend Road (to the left), Albemarle Road (straight ahead) and High Street, Beckenham (to the right) etc.
Under Instruction 2 'advice', please note that the alternative route through Beckenham Green and St. George's Churchyard is accessible to wheelchairs as regards widths and hard surfacing, however that there may be some awkwardness in closing the churchyard gate if the wheelchair user is alone plus the surface is uneven in places.
